The HWA RACELAB team tasted success at the opening round of the FIA Formula 3 Championship at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. Matteo Nannini (Italy) finished third in the number 14 car in race three of the weekend. In doing so, the 17-year-old driver from the Affalterbach-based team underlined his great talent.

The HYRAZE League continues to gain momentum. The founding of a limited company (GmbH in German) marks the next step in the development of the revolutionary hydrogen racing series. The technological and economic development of the project is already in full swing, while there are already signs of the innovation drive that the HYRAZE League is expected to produce.

The third driver has now also been confirmed. Oliver Rasmussen (Denmark) will race alongside Matteo Nannini (Italy) and Rafael Villagomez (Mexico) for HWA RACELAB in the 2021 FIA Formula 3 Championship. The 20-year-old joins the team after an impressive season in the Formula Regional European Championship and has already driven the HWA RACELAB car.

The second of the three drivers for the 2021 season of the FIA Formula 3 Championship has been confirmed: HWA RACELAB is putting its faith in the promising and talented Rafael Villagomez (Mexico) in the coming season of the junior racing series. The 19-year-old will make his debut in the series for the team from Affalterbach.

A duo of Italian drivers will contest the 2021 FIA Formula 2 Championship for HWA RACELAB. Alessio Deledda and Matteo Nannini will be behind the wheel for the team from Affalterbach in the highest Formula racing series for young drivers. Nannini will compete on two fronts in the 2021 season, as he lines up for HWA RACELAB in both Formula 2 and FIA Formula 3.
