The opening round of the FIA Formula 3 Championship at Circuit de Catalunya in Spain heralds a new era for HWA AG. The company from Affalterbach is set to make its first appearance with its own team in a Formula 3 race. Next success for HWA RACELAB in the ABB FIA Formula E Championship: Gary Paffett held his nerve as the weather caused chaos in Paris. Starting 17th, the experienced driver battled his way into eighth place to pick up points for the second time this season. Stoffel Vandoorne was involved in a collision on the slippery track and was forced to retire.

Stoffel Vandoorne's third place in Rome just a few days ago presented HWA RACELAB with its first big success in the ABB FIA Formula E Championship. HWA RACELAB is all set for the start of this season's FIA Formula 3 Championship in May. Drivers Bent Viscaal (NED), Jake Hughes (GBR) and Keyvan Andres (IRN) gained more valuable experience at the third and final official test at the Hungaroring. The trio improved over the course of the two days and concluded the test with a solid team performance.
